Jupiter Scientific's Zeus Point-of-Use Dry Scrubber is in a class by itself. The Zeus utilizes twin Europa 15 cubic foot canisters that allow process flows of 500 LPM when in single canister with automatic hot standby switchover mode. In this mode the Zeus provides the ability to solve critical large process flows while providing assurance against product loss through its ability to quickly change from one canister to the next. The transition is so rapid that it is transparent to the process tool. The Zeus maintains independent Venturi Vacuum pumps and valving for each canister as well as independent PID control for each canister. This helps to ensure that one canister is always ready to safely scrub gases for large processes through long process runs. In parallel mode the Zeus scrubber can handle up to 1000 LPM process flow. The Zeus scrubber has a 3 " inlet and dual 2" outlets.
The Zeus Dry Scrubber can scrub even the most difficult target gases with > 99.999% removal efficiency. This performance is verified through an on board toxic gas monitor at the exhaust.
Zeus scrubbers run on one canister while the second canister waits as a hot standby. Upon user demand or upon breakthrough of the operating canister automatically switches processing to the spare canister so quickly that no process interruptions occur.
Zeus features integrated PLC controlled & actuated inlet, outlet and bypass valves.
Zeus has a host of safety interlocks and has the ability to quickly take action if an unsafe condition exists while notifying users through audio, visual, or electronic means.
The Zeus scrubber has an integrated Venturi vacuum pump to provide draw through the system. This pump is controlled by a PID system that ensures constant draw despite changing process conditions.
Access to Zeus is through a large color touch panel. The panel clearly communicates critical system information and allows the user to easily access all control functions at a touch.
Zeus continuously monitors target gas levels at the exhaust and in the enclosure. In addition, monitors and compensates for inlet pressure and monitors temperature to ensure safe operation.
Zeus records key operating parameters, exhaust gas levels, and event and alarm history to non-volatile memory that can be easily downloaded by the user.
Zeus features remote access through smart devices. In addition, communication with the factory is available through digital signals and most popular protocols including native MODBUS and optional Profibus and BACnet.
The Zeus scrubber is controlled by a sophisticated PLC that constantly adjusts the scrubber for optimal performance while continuously scanning safety interlocks and acting to ensure safe operation.
